Graduates can pursue entry-level opportunities in positions and industries where basic photography skills are an asset, including photography assistants, studio assistants, digital processing labs, and retail, or as a freelance photographer or small-business owner.

- capture images using appropriate equipment and techniques;
- apply design elements and lighting techniques to produce images that communicate effectively;
- edit and organize images using industry-standard software.

Additional Information
It is strongly recommended that students complete or begin to complete PHTO 0025 Digital Camera Techniques (Micro-credential) or have a firm understanding of their cameras’ technical capabilities, before taking other modules. Students are required to use their personal camera.

Graduation Window
Students registered in part-time studies programs must maintain continuous registration in order to complete the program according to the curriculum in place at the time they were admitted. Students who do not remain continuously registered must be readmitted to the program and follow the new curriculum.
